Our promise
When you see the best price guarantee on a villa, we are confident it costs less
to book with us than the same villa on other booking sites for the same dates.
If you find it cheaper elsewhere, we refund the difference on your booking and
give you £50 toward your next stay with us.
What counts
The guarantee applies when all of the following are true:
- The other listing is for the same villa.
- The dates, number of guests and length of stay are the same.
- The cancellation terms are the same or stricter than ours.
- The price is public and bookable by anyone on the day you tell us. Member-only
rates, loyalty discounts, cashback offers, coupon codes and prices that appear
only after signing in do not count.
- The price includes everything you would pay to complete that booking: service
fees, cleaning fees and taxes. We compare final totals, not headline rates.
- You booked the villa with us and your booking is confirmed or awaiting our
approval.
When you can claim
Any time from the moment you book until the day you check in. You do not need to
wait for us to approve your booking: a claim is just as valid while your request
is still with us as it is once we have confirmed it.
How to claim
Send us the link to the cheaper listing on WhatsApp or by email, together with
your booking reference. A screenshot showing the price, dates and guest count
helps us confirm it quickly. We check the listing ourselves and reply within
one business day.
What you receive
- The difference. We reduce your remaining balance by the difference. If you
have already paid in full, we refund the difference to your original payment
method.
- £50 toward your next stay. We send you a single-use booking code for £50
off a future booking with us. The code is valid for 12 months from the day we
issue it and can be used on any villa. It cannot be combined with other
discounts or promotional codes.
How we compare prices
Prices are compared in the currency of your booking, converted where needed at a
published exchange rate on the day you claim. We tell you which rate we used.
What the guarantee does not cover
- Listings for a different villa, even on the same property.
- Prices shown in error on another site and corrected by them when asked.
- Package prices that bundle flights, transfers or other services.
- Prices offered by the villa owner privately, or off any booking platform.
- Bookings made through channels other than canvilia.com.
- Differences caused only by exchange-rate movement after you booked.
Which villas
The guarantee applies to villas showing the best price guarantee tag on the day
you booked. Villas without the tag are priced fairly, but are not covered by this
promise.
