A villa as a retreat venue, not just a place to stay

Yoga retreat organisers usually book a dedicated retreat centre or a hotel function room; a villa is a quieter option, and not one anyone else is marketing to them on this coast. A private group gets the whole property: a terrace or deck to practise on, a kitchen for shared meals, and no other guests to work around.

What to look for

A flat, covered terrace or a garden deck is what makes morning practice work without negotiating the pool area with other guests. Beyond the practice space itself, sauna and hamam are the two features worth asking about directly if they are central to your plan, since not every villa has either. Our sauna and hamam villas are selected specifically because they have one or both.

Massage and instructors, arranged around you

In villa massage can be arranged on request, and so can bringing in your own instructor if you are running the retreat yourself rather than joining one. Tell us the shape of your programme when you enquire and we confirm what is possible for the villa and dates you are considering.

Quiet, and space between sessions

A retreat needs downtime as much as sessions, and a private garden or a shaded corner away from the main terrace gives a group somewhere to be quietly apart between them, which a shared hotel space rarely offers.
